student well-being
At Conscious Eats, we are all about student well-being. We host student activities that explore alternative methods to sustainability and self-development. Sounds serious; but tbh for the most part we eat, socialize and have fun..lol! We are teaming up with the student club ‘The Sustainability Network’ to organize some cool activities for the student community. Our focus is going to be on building positive lifestyle and habits so that your campus experience is really what it should be – fun and stress-free!
Nourish yourself with food for the body and mind. Your options: meditation, yoga or our Mantra vibe nights. Great food, chilled social scene and good vibes all round.

special events
Just coz we like to have fun and we know you do too, we are hosting an O-week mantra party and a nature retreat in addition to our cool weekly activities! Who can say no to a lively party and some nature time?
Launch party
2nd March, Thurs, 6pm
What’s better than starting the semester with an ecstatic party?
We are adding to the O-week vibes by hosting our own meditation party…Who said meditation couldn’t be dynamic and exciting? Kirtan – a fusion of music & mantra (that you can dance to) will get you feeling stress-free and blissed out in a way you never thought possible! Yes – meditators do party, and this type of partying can lead to a state of peace in the easiest, most fun way possible. As with any party there will be refreshments & food supplied as well as a quick run-down on what the club has to offer!
Venue: Room 311-346, Kate Edgar building
Free entry for club members!
$5 entry for non-members
Nature retreat
25th - 26th March, Northland
Wind down from the intensity of the semester with a nature retreat at Ahimsa Farm in Kaiwaka, Northland. Ahimsa Farm is completely off the grid; experience sustainable living first hand 🙂
Enjoy a weekend of yoga, meditation, bush walks, amazing food and lots more.
Ahimsa Farm has an organic garden, this is where the organic veggies used at Conscious Eats come from! You can also get your hands dirty and try a bit of gardening. If gardening is not your thing then cuddle the cows, check out the glow worms and if you like then sleep under the beautiful starlit night sky! It’s time to spend some quality time with yourself, with nature and with other like-minded people!
